Midnight in Paris: Grant High School Prom

It was a magical night for junior and senior students of Fox Lake’s Grant High School. Arriving promptly by chartered buses at 7pm, students and their dates whisked through the doors of The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, IL. Inside the club, they found their seats inside a grand ballroom that was decorated in deep purple amidst the twilight lighting of the room.

The gentlemen looked dashing in dark tuxedos with matching cummerbunds and/or vests that were in perfect color sync with their dates’ dress choice. The ladies looked fairytale elegant, whether wearing floor length gowns in colors ranging from soft orange, bright red and pale blue, or shorter cocktail versions with sequins, sparkles and glitter. The bling was avid and present and hung tastefully from the girls’ ears or rested calmly around necklines.

Stepping into the hallway was by far the highlight of evening: the photo booth, provided by Photo Booth Express in Schaumburg. Whether it was couples, groups of friends or teachers, all enjoyed taking fun and festive pictures from the beginning of the event, to the end of event. The ever-existent line proved the photo booth was a success and perfect accompaniment for any Prom, Homecoming or school function. Each guest of the photo booth was given a photo strip of the pictures taken to remind them of this special event and time in their lives.

Rocking out in the ballroom was DJ Steve Rader of Willie Fun. Steve’s energy was reflective in his ability to keep the dance floor packed and kids dancing all night long to the latest hits.
