Medinah Country Club: Architecturally Significant Wedding Reception Location

The Medinah Country Club, host of the upcoming 2012 Ryder Cup, has been a host for past PGA Championships, U.S. Opens, and Western Opens. With 54-holes of golf, including a world-renowned course #3, Medinah was an easy choice for the wedding reception of Beth and Calvin.

Set back deep within 640-acres of rich greens, Beth and Calvin’s wedding reception could be found in the ballroom and adjoining lounge of the club house.  With a mosque feel, the makings of the club house boasted oriental, Louis XIV, and Italian architectural aspects. Beautiful and breath-taking, to say the least.

As guests arrived they were greeted with cocktails and passed appetizers that spanned the foyer and first floor of the country club.  At 7pm the bell chimed and guests were escorted into the ballroom for a multi-course sit-down dinner and live entertainment provided by a fantastic live band.

In-between courses and throughout the evening, guests visited the adjoining lounge to stretch their legs and get a picture taken in the photo booth provided by Photo Booth Express located in Schaumburg, IL. After posing for four pictures, two copies printed out seconds later, one for guests to take along, and the other copy guests placed in a guest book for Beth and Calvin. Taking all details into consideration, Beth had provided guests with a variety of fun stickers and colored pens to help her decorate the guestbook and include notes of love and affection next to their photo booth pictures.

The families and friends of Beth and Calvin were so lovely and kind. This wedding truly was magnificent with no detail left unturned. Congratulations to Beth and Calvin to a life filled with love, good health, and much happiness.
