India House Hosts Kick-Off Celebration for Wedding Weekend

Friday, September 17th, was the kick-off celebration for the wedding of Roma and Neil. The India House in Schaumburg was the location for this grand celebration and inside, three separate ballrooms were opened to allow guests to dine in one area and dance and observe a special program in another.

In the dining portion of the ballroom, tables were decorated with black linens and each table was highlighted with bright purple, orange, green, pink, or blue table runners and color coordinated decorative sashes on the chairs. Table centerpieces were simple, yet elegant with floating candles sitting in round large round bowls of water that were dyed to match the color scheme of the table. Food stations lined the walls with a variety of options that guests enjoyed all throughout the evening.

On the other side of the room was a large open space, with a dance floor in the middle and gold bamboo chairs with red cushions that surrounded it. At one end of the dance floor were floor to ceiling white curtains that were pulled back and inside was a white couch that sat beneathe a glistening chandelier that hosted the bride and groom during the evenings program.

The program was specially crafted for Roma and Neil by their family and friends. The program featured dancing, singing, and speeches sharing fond memories and well wishes for Roma and Neil’s future.

The photo booth, provided by Photo Booth Express out of Schaumburg, was a hit with the children and the guests. The bride provided props including various hats, glasses, and boas, and guests grabbed whatever strike their fancy, hopped in the booth, and took pictures in style.

Photographs was captured by Pawinski Photography and videography was provided by Semih Keskes .

Congratulations Roma and Neil!
