Celebrating PAWS Chicago

PAWS Chicago celebrated their annual fundraiser on February 12, 2011 at Giovanni’s in Rockford. With a live band rocking out to some great rock classics, guests perused the silent auction tables while sipping cocktails and visiting with fellow animal-loving friends. While guests enjoyed their plated dinners, a live auctioneer anchored the live auction with gifts ranging from a Rolling Stones autographed guitar to a custom made dog house with free pet sitting. Photo Booth Expresstraveled from Schaumburg to capture guests’ smiles and enjoyment of the evening. Each guest took home a copy of their photo booth picture, in classic photo strip style.

PAWS Chicago “is the city’s largest No Kill humane organization, focused on alleviating pet homelessness” (PAWS Chicago, 2011). In 2010 PAWS Chicago was able to place 400 animals in loving homes and neuter/spay over 3,000 animals.
