4th Annual Gala: Fly Me to the Moon – Girls on the Run, McHenry

This particular evening offered pure delight for sponsors, running buddies, and supporters of Girls on the Run, McHenry County. Hosted at the The Onion Pub and Brewery in Barrington, Girls on the Run hosted their 4th Annual Gala themed, Fly Me to the Moon.

Among the evenings festivities included American Idol’s Season 5 semi-finalist, David Radford and his jazz quartet. David was fantastic and sang classics all throughout the evening. In addition to live entertainment, there was a silent and live auction with everything ranging from golf foursomes, to overnight getaways, to restaurant gift certificates. There was something for every bidding range and interest.

Throughout the evening cocktails were served and Hors d’Oeuvres were passed. Guests enjoyed meatballs, chicken skewers, and fresh tomato bruschetta. Desserts included fresh fruit and cheeses along with cookies and a variety of delicious pastries.

To capture some of the evenings people gatherings, a photo booth was generously donated by Photo Booth Express and took pictures all evening long. Guests also enjoyed taking pictures with loved ones and friends, all  in the spirit and excitement of the mission and vision for Girls on the Run.
